What SoundsGood2 is, what it costs, and what you own. Anything else: contact.malvyn@gmail.com.
You write lyrics and describe the sound you want — genre, mood, tempo, voice. Our Impromptune v1.0 engine composes and performs the song in one render: melody, instruments, beat and vocal. You listen free; a subscription unlocks the download.
No. Impromptune is deliberately run with its lyric improvisation switched off. It sings the words in your brief, as written — your song stays your writing. Every render in our trials was machine-checked against the submitted lyrics.
Yes. Impromptune is our own program built on the licence-free ACE-Step model, so generated songs carry no royalties, no per-use fees, no usage caps and no revocation clause. Download them, post them, use them in videos and projects.
Free generation and free listening, with a daily generation cap — rendering burns real computing, and the cap keeps the studio fast and fair for everyone. Listening to your finished songs is always free and unlimited.
Downloads. Starter (US$6.75/mo) unlocks downloads of your songs; Standard (US$12/mo) adds a higher daily generation allowance and full-song renders; Pro (US$19/mo) adds the highest allowance and priority in the render queue. Full details on the pricing page.
Right now, the Song Brief Builder saves briefs in your own browser, on your own device — nothing is uploaded. You can download a .txt copy of any brief from your studio queue. When live studio sessions open, the briefs you take there are what the engine sings from.
SoundsGood2 is preparing its first public studio sessions now. The brief builder and the sample songs are live; live rendering and subscription downloads open with those sessions. Briefs saved in the meantime are first in line — and the samples page is exactly what the engine already produces.
Yes — three real renders are on the samples page: a classic pop ballad, a dance anthem and a slow heartbreak ballad, each with the brief that produced it.
A small independent studio that builds its own tools — Impromptune is ours, not rented from a supplier. See the about page, or write to us at contact.malvyn@gmail.com.
